Our Story

A family crew, two decades in the making

It started as a shared family passion and turned into a lifetime on the water. For twenty years, the three of us have fished together all over the world, chasing marlin, tuna, and dorado — built on thousands of hours in the boat together.

In November 2026, we're bringing that experience back to Cabo San Lucas for the Tuna Jackpot — the highest-paying tuna tournament in the world, and the same event where we took first for biggest wahoo in 2016. We're not a big-budget team backed by a fleet of sponsors. We're three people who love this sport, looking for partners who want to be part of the story.

Track Record

We've stood on this podium before

In 2016, fishing aboard Picante Pride, we brought in the biggest wahoo of the tournament — 53.2 lbs — and took home the Day 1 prize. It's the same tournament we're heading back to in November 2026, and we're going in with the results to back up the ask.

It's not the only title in the family — Diego also won the Marlin World Cup in Mauritius, landing the tournament's biggest marlin. (Details and photo to follow.)

The Opportunity

The Cabo Tuna Jackpot, 2026

Now in its 28th year, the Cabo Tuna Jackpot is widely regarded as the highest-paying tuna tournament in the world, having distributed well over $1.4M in payouts in recent editions. Roughly 100 teams from around the globe converge on Cabo San Lucas each November to compete for yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and mahi-mahi.

It's a high-visibility stage — international teams, serious anglers, and a tournament culture built around performance and gear. Exactly the audience a fishing brand wants in front of.

Partnership

What this partnership looks like

Fishing brands don't need broad reach — they need the right eyes on their gear. This tournament puts you in front of roughly 100 international teams of serious offshore anglers: people who already buy what you sell, not a general audience. Here's what we bring, and what we're actually asking for.

What You Get

Visibility with a qualified audience

Your logo on the boat and our gear for the full tournament — in front of roughly 100 international teams, their crews, and the marina crowd at one of the richest tuna tournaments in the world. Competing at this level means boats, travel, and entry fees, which draws a lot of high-net-worth owners and anglers. Concentrated exposure to buyers, not just impressions.

A full content package, on a timeline

Photos and video from training, travel, and the tournament itself — real use of your gear, not a staged endorsement — delivered within two weeks of the event so you can put it to work while it's still current. Yours to use in your own marketing.

A result to point to

A 2016 win in this exact tournament, and a Marlin World Cup title in the family — we've already shown we can perform on the day, so backing us isn't a bet on potential.

An engaged spokesperson

We'll talk about your gear and our experience with it wherever it's useful to you — before and after the tournament, not just during it.

What We're Looking For
Financial Partner

Cover the trip

Entry fees, travel, and boat costs for a three-person crew flying from Luxembourg to Cabo San Lucas — any level of support helps.

Gear & Product Partner

Kit us out

Rods, reels, tackle, apparel — anything we'd genuinely fish with, put to work on the water, and show off in the content we bring back.

Open to a mix of both, or something else entirely — happy to talk about what fits.

Let's Talk

Interested in partnering with LUX Team for the 2026 Tuna Jackpot?

Whether it's financial support, gear, or product — we'd love to talk about what a partnership could look like.

Branded gear and boat livery take lead time to arrange — the earlier we connect, the more we can build together before November.
